This dish is also perfect if you don’t have enough time to cook. And it’s even faster if you make your alfredo sauce ahead of time!
This popular restaurant dish is ready in no time. Although it is easy to prepare, it is very suitable for your receptions.
Ingredients :
- 300 g of fettuccine
- 500 g medium or large shrimp, peeled, deveined with or without tails
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Alfredo sauce
- ½ cup of butter
- 2 cups full cream
- 2 to 4 cloves of garlic, degermed and pressed
- 1 cup of Parmesan (preferably freshly grated)
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of cream cheese, optional
- 1small spoon of chopped parsley
Instructions :
Step 1. Bring a large pot of water to the boil and cook the fettuccine “al dente” according to the instructions on the package. Drain them. Mix them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and set them aside.
Step 2. Meanwhile, heat two large spoon of olive oil in a skillet. Add the shrimp and cook them over medium heat, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove the shrimp and set them aside on a plate.
Step 3. In the meantime, prepare the alfredo sauce: melt your butter in the pan where you cooked your shrimp. Add the cream, mix. get to a boil and minimiwe the heat.
Step 4. Add the garlic, parmesan and cream cheese. Whisk quickly to melt the cheese (the pan still on low heat).
Step 5. Pepper to taste. Add the fettuccine and shrimp, mix gently. The pasta will absorb the sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
