Best Homemade Milk Brioche Recipe

MILK BRIOCHE – Best Fluffy like cloud and super soft

These Soft Brioche Dinner Rolls are so deliciously buttery. Richly flavored and golden brown, they are the perfect complement to any meal.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 ml (⅞ cup) warm milk;
  • 7 g (1 1/2 teaspoons) dry yeast;
  • 20 g (4 3/4 teaspoons) sugar;
  • 6 g (1 teaspoon) salt;
  • 20 g (1 tablespoon) honey;
  • 400 g (3 cups) all-purpose flour;
  • 30 g (2 tablespoons) softened butter;
  • 50 g (½ cup) chocolate chips.


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix the warm milk with dry yeast, honey and sugar.
  2. Add all-purpose flour and salt to liquids and stir until smooth.
  3. Mix the butter with the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Knead the chocolate pieces into the dough.
  5. Fold the dough twice as shown in the video, 15 minutes apart.Leave to rest for 1 hour.
  6. Cut the dough into 6 parts, widen each part and roll into a cigar. Pour into a casserole dish.
  7. Let the bread rest for 1 hour until it has doubled in volume.
  8. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180°C for 20–22 minutes.
