Pineapple Glazed Ham is a sweet and savory dish, featuring a tender, juicy ham coated with a flavorful glaze made from pineapple juice, honey, and a hint of mustard. The caramelized glaze creates a delicious balance of sweetness and tang, making it a perfect centerpiece for holiday meals or special occasions.


Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-cooked ham (bone-in or boneless), about 8-10 pounds
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup fresh pineapple chunks, drained


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Score the ham in a crosshatch pattern.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the ham in a roasting pan and pour the glaze over the top.
  5. Bake the ham for 20-30 minutes, or until heated through.
  6. Serve the ham hot with pineapple chunks and the remaining glaze.
