Slow Cooker Candied Kielbasa
This recipe brings me back to family gatherings when we’d all crowd around the kitchen, drawn by the smell of sweet and savory kielbasa! It’s a real crowd-pleaser that warms everyone up and keeps them coming back for more. Perfect for any celebration or cozy night in.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Place sliced kielbasa sausage in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper until well blended.
- Pour the sauce over the kielbasa, stirring to coat each piece evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until sausage is heated through and sauce is thickened.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a hearty main dish.
Tips: For extra richness, add a few pineapple chunks to the sauce, or try a pinch of crushed red pepper for a hint of spice.
