Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and onion, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and steak strips to the sauce, tossing to coat everything evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
