Ingredients:

  • 1 lb steak (cut into strips)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup rice (uncooked)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook Steak: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Cook Rice: Add the uncooked rice to the skillet, then pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce the heat to low. Let the rice cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked steak back into the skillet and stir to combine. Let everything heat through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

ENJOY!!
