Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1 bell pepper, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 burger buns, toasted


Instructions:

  1. Saute Veggies: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for another minute.
  2. Cook Chicken: Add ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add Broth and Cream: Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, simmering for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Melt Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella into the skillet, stirring until melted and creamy.
