Garlic Butter Air Fryer Mushrooms
In less than 10 minutes, these delicious garlic mushrooms in the air fryer will be perfectly cooked. Combine fresh baby Bella mushrooms with garlic and olive oil for tender, crispy, air-fried mushrooms that everyone will love. Air fryers provide a healthy alternative to deep frying without all the mess.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (about 450g) mushrooms (button mushrooms or cremini work well)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Clean and Prep Mushrooms:
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth or a soft brush to remove any dirt.
- Trim the stems and cut the mushrooms into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
Marinate:
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the mushrooms to the bowl and toss them until well-coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
Air Fry:
- Place the marinated mushrooms in the air fryer basket, spreading them out in a single layer for even cooking.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing the mushrooms halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Check for Doneness:
- Mushrooms should be golden brown and crispy on the edges. Adjust the cooking time if needed.
Serve:
- Remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
